Bluestone Middle School's Student Registration and Fee Day is Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Parents and students are invited to meet their teachers, receive their schedules, and pay school fees for the 2010-2011 school year.

On Monday, June 7, 2010, Bluestone Middle School held its sixth grade awards program to honor students for citizenship, academic excellence, SOL achievement, perfect attendance, and Principal's Honor Roll. Students were also awarded for excellence in Art, Band, Physical Education, and Foreign Cultures class. In addition, the BMS library concluded its Accelerated Reader program and its Virginia Readers' Choice program by honoring the top readers. On Friday, May 28th, each grade enjoyed a student/faculty basketball game and then later that evening the students danced and socialized at the Spring Gala. After the Memorial Day holiday, students were treated to a BMX bike show on Tuesday, June 1st and a Mega Party on Thursday, June 3rd. Both of these fun events were sponsored by the PTA!!!
