`Welcome to Bluestone Middle School’s web page.  As you can see, we are working on creating a user friendly page that is easier to navigate through and has important information readily available.

We are very excited about the 2014-2015 school year.  BMS made incredible gains in 2013-2014 and we are looking to continue the trend.  There are some changes this year in scheduling and in some of the tools being used to reinforce instruction.  We have looked at data and want to make sure we are making sound decisions and using proven tools to enhance student learning. Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment for our students with a strong system of supports for all learners.
As the school year progresses, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

*In order to create a more safe environment for students and staff Bluestone Middle School is distributing Key Access Cards to students and faculty.  These cards will allow student and faculty access to entrances  to the building while they  remain locked during the day.  Those who need to visit the school, such as parents and guardians, must have a photo ID to show at the main entrance of the building.  You will be expected to ring the buzzer to the office and show an ID when asked.  You will then be granted access with  legitimate credentials. This  program was able to be provided with grant money and with the that we continue to improve conditions that relate to school safety.  Beginning August 27, please bring your photo ID when visiting the school.   Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
